2004-09-15 - 3:49 p.m. My friend visited a slaughterhouse today as part of her job. I think everyone who eats meat should do this. Before you chow down I think you should see what happens before that hamburger or steak lands on the grocery shelf. Yes everyone is entitled to eat meat I just think that you should know where it comes from and what is involved. I've seen it. It's NOT pretty and it stays with you for a LONG, long time. Just some food for thought.
